The Phoenix Walking Club is based in North Tyneside and pre-pandemic had over 300 members.  The club restarted in October 2021 after a 19 month break due to the pandemic.  Every six days two 53 seater coaches take members to destinations in Northumberland, Durham, Yorkshire, Cumbria, Lake District and sometimes the Scottish Borders.

The club meets every Wednesday morning at North Shields Library to facilitate booking of walks and a social get together.
